A lot of people spend a lot of time in Google Analytics. And a growing number of people like to spend a lot of time in VR. Now you can combine the two. This app allows visualization of Google Analytics data in VR.
You'll need working Google Analytics account to try it (obviously). Follow these instructions before running this app: 1. Setup new or use existing google analytics account; 2. After creating GA account you must obtain View ID of your website, to do this open following link https://www.google.com/analytics/web/?hl=en#management/Settings/ 3. Select needed website and then in third column make sure "All website data" is selected, click "View settings"; 4. On view settings page copy "View ID" into clipboard; 5. Open file credentials.txt (in root folder of the app) in text editor, replace first line inside with the ID, that you copied from View Settings, 6. save file; 7. Run the app; On the first run you will have to authorize application with your google account (happens only once) - After running the app, check lock sign on central authorization cube, if it shows locked state, then press "Authorize app" button below, your browser will open new window (take off Oculus and look at your display); - In browser there is a standard google authorization dialogue. Confirm app access to your account; - Google will give you authorization token, copy it by pressing CTRL-C, switch back to app and put on HMD; - Paste authorization token (CTRL-V) into first field ("Enter code...") and press button below it; - Statistics will load.
